Our 'Newspaper Of The Week'
Founded as a monthly print publication to
empower and inform Our Beautiful Readers
about local and national news,
The Honorable Billy Q. McCray and
The Honorable Yvette McCray established
The Community Voice in Wichita, Kansas in 1994. Two
years later in 1996, the Gooch Family-controlled
R. G. Enterprises, Inc. purchased the paper.
Under the administrative and editorial direction
of The Honorable Bonita Gooch,
the publication has risen to great heights and has
a biweekly print edition along with multiple
Internet and social media platforms to thoroughly
engage its target markets!

to keep Our People up on current events,
to engage our populations to organize,
