Our 'Newspaper Of The Week'
Published from 1960 to 1963,
The Birmingham Mirror newspaper reflected
on remembering Black History and Black
Historical Figures during and before the Civil
Rights Movement era. Information on who
published or edited it is not available.
Black Newspapers History Month was
founded by Ralph C. Winge, D.D.S.
in 2025 to acknowledge, praise, and respect
the Publishers, Editors, Reporters,
Typesetters, Secretaries, Agents,
Distributors, Newsstands, Paperboys,
and all of the the Team Members,
over the many decades, necessary
to produce and disseminate to Our
Black Beautiful Populations the needed
paper ( and now digital) instruments
to inform, inspire, and promote literacy,
so that Our People can make better
decisions, remember Our Great Histories,
to keep Our People up on current events,
to engage our populations to organize,
provide tips and methods to stay safe
in potentially-hostile environments,
and create mechanisms to construct
Our Enterprises for Our Outstanding Futures.
